My bride left my sunroof open Friday night, and wouldn't you know, the first rain we've had in the Twin Cities in about 2 weeks came through Saturday morning in the form of a torrential downpour that yielded over an inch of rain in about 30 minutes. I got right to work once I realized what had happened, soaking up the carpets with towels, then putting a high volume fan in various positions throughout the day. I gave it a good vaccuum and cleaning yesterday and let it air out in the sun all day. The area of wettest concentration was the floor behind the front seats. I think I've got the whole thing mostly dry, just wondering if there's anything I should be looking for in terms of possible latent problems later on? Thank goodness for leather seats!
