My 99 9-3 with 101k on the clock has just recently had new brakes. After installing my new EVO 17" wheels i get a pretty decent squeak under light braking. I'm used to a standard squeak squeak of a high pitched nature but this is actually rather deep sounding. Just like light squeaking it will stop with heavier pedal application, but it is kind of loud with moderate braking.
On a seperate note ...
The front suspension (what seems like the right side, could be both) feels somewhat loose over bumps <20mph. For instance, pulling into the garage up the 2" concrete lip of the drive I hear a clunk. Sounds like a bushing (maybe more than one) needs replacement. It's similar while driving up to speeds of say 20-30mph. Any ideas of what might be the first thing to check?
One perhaps a similar note as the one just abve ...
When coasting I feel like I am hering a rapidly reoccuring knock from the suspension/wheels up front. It's rather quiet, but I would say it's about once every second (perhaps it's every rotation of the wheel)
Thanks for any help
Jeff
