I am having a Quaife LSD, Eibach springs and Koni adjustable's installed on my Viggen. So in a couple of weeks time I can give you some feedback with regard to this setup over the stock Viggen setup. I decided on the Eibachs for cost (got them cheap) and lowering (only about 1/2"). Lower would be better but then the front air dam would just hit the ground more often.
Since I installed 225/45-17 tires the air dam hardly ever hits the ground. But the stock springs are just too darn soft IMHO. I have used Tokico, Bilstein and KYB shocks/struts in other vehicles, not in any Saabs however. Bilstein's are probably the stiffest but seem to last forever. The Tokico's were also quite good. KYB's are good for the money but not in the same league as the others IMNHO.
I have used Bilstein and Koni racing shocks but they were valved for 600+ lb springs not a useful comparison for the street. I busted up a Koni strut in a shunt and then installed the Bilstein's because they were handy. I did end up settling on the Bilsteins for racing mostly because they were easier (and cheaper) to work with for custom valving/rebuilding.
