Outside Temp display on SID not working

I just got my '99 Viggen back from the shop, and the outside temperature display on the SID isn't working properly anymore. It still displays a temperature, but not the right one.
For instance, on my 20 minute drive this morning, the outside temp varied between 78 and 91 degrees. The actual outside temperature was somewhere around 71-74. The display actually started up at 91, dropped to 79, and then bounced around for the rest of the drive, changing as much as 2-3 degrees per minute.
Yesterday afternoon when I picked up the car, it claimed it was up to 116 degrees (actual reported high for the day was 94).
The only work that was done this time around was they painted the front bumper after they'd scraped it up last week (see rant from Aug 2). I know the temp sensor is somewhere around the front bumper, so I'm guessing they didn't hook it back up correctly or chaffed a wire.
I know the auto climate control bases it's logic partly on outside temp, so I'd like to have this working correctly. Is there any way for me to get at this or fix it easily, or do I have to go back to the Dealer from Heck to get this fixed? If I do, I know they'll claim no fault and charge me to fix it...
