Sparkplugs BCPR6ES or BCPR7ES?

I read the archives:
6 series = hotter, better for city driving/short trips, where you want to get up to temperature faster.
7 series = colder, better for long distance/towing/mountains (high loads.)
My situation/question: I drive 7 minutes to work each way 5 days a week.
I also drive 250 miles trips regularly (4 x 250miles per month). I drive ~25K miles a year. (usually, I take a really long road trip in the summer)
I live in south-east michigan.
My biggest concern is DIC life (currently on my 2nd). I also want good fuel economy, and of course, everyone likes responsive power right? ;-)
I don't mind changing the sparkplugs every 10K miles.. (in fact, I currently change them at the slightest hint of rough startup idle...which is ~10K) That and a bottle of Techron additive fixes all of mine rough idle problems. (which really isn't a problem except around winter time)
