Oil is gonna get you into a religous war around here, you can imagine...
Mobil-1 5w-30 or whatever weight. You used to be in cleveland so you know winters aren't the same.
Did the car come with blue antifreeze? Try VW G-48, I believe Mercedes is also G48. But either one of those may have been 'updated' to DexCool by now? Zerex G-05 is supposed to be compatible too. If you switch to a different type of corrosion package, you'll have to flush it thoroughly so none of the old stuff is left in there. Maybe with the waterpump they drained it all? Do you know whether they did? If you measure specific gravity with a hydrometer, that doesn't measure whether the corrosion package is 'used up'.
DOT4 brake fluid. I always liked Castrol LMA until it became difficult to find. ATE Super Blue & Pentosin are good, but not found everywhere either. I'm pretty sure your bleeder cap will fit. Clutch shares the reservoir just like C900, but there's a higher dam inside, so the clutch can go dry when the reservoir still looks full.
Saab updated tranny fluid to MTF0063, supposed to shift better. Check Taliaferro's site for VIN cutoff; maybe yours already has it. Otherwise Redline MTL should work without so many drain/fill cycles. I'm gonna go to Redline 'cause someone on here said it's better than MTF0063. Most people have not used BOTH so can't compare. Either one is better than the older stock fluid.
I usually find rotors are ok with resurfacing. Until I had to do the 9³, they were thin. Measure & see what you got? Front minimum 22mm, rear minimum 8mm.
