First check for other loose or cracked hoses.
Then clean the Purge Valve and IAC valve and the Throttle body.
Clean and or replace your spark plugs.
My friends 97 900 had major stuttering whent he car came to a complete stop. 3 hose were loose or cracked, the IAC was black and gunked up, and I am sure the purge valve was dirty.
We did all the free DIY cleanings and the car idled smooth again.
Good Luck, Jim
