If you dont have the speakers in the doors, then you arent going to have the amp either. I think that Saab only started wiring the doors with the 9-3, regardless if you have the "SE" system with the amp, or not. Your 900 probably is not wired. The best bet, without going completely aftermarket, would be to get an OEM amp from a wrecking yard or a sponsor on this site. Many folks have gone through Gold Wing Saab. THe Saab amp connects to the stock head unit through a 8-pin cable, which for the most part is a saab only item. You might be able to track one down at an electronics supply house too. Then all thats left is to run wires from the passenger kick panel to each door. The door speakers are 6.5 or 6.75. Dont bother buying 2-way or 3-way door speakers if you use the saab amp, as its designed to only send low frequencies, essentially making them miniture Sub-woofers. You can still put 2 or 3-way speakers in there, but you wont get any benefit from the tweeters. Sometimes just a woofer is hard to find unless you buy it with a component system, which is big money and alot of wasted parts.
