It took a about an hour, but it looks ten times better and is cool haha...
Go to walmart and get a switch that you can put into one of the blank switch places, take out the little cover and bring it along to see how the switch will fit in side of it. Then make sure you have the tools to drill the cover to put the switch into. Get a fuse terminal and pick up a small fuse if you dont have one. These are regular sized fuses keep in mind.
Use a power supply from the fuse box that isnt being used. You can see the empty positions that had power going to them use tap into these and use the ground bolt riht below it against the wall of the chassis. I soldered a wire to the little metal tabs on the cig plug of the radar and then just plugged the tab into empty fuse place.
Put the detector as high up, right below the rear view mirror, and run the power cable up along the top of the roof line, it goes pretty far back there just tuck enough so that it stays up there and you dont see it. Run the line to the A-Pillar above the fuse box (driver side) take the pillar off (it jsut snaps out) then run the power cord down through to the fuse box. Plug in and go.
just an idea... keeps the wire from hanging down, easy to remove if you need to, about the same work as putting another cig lighter in your car...
Good luck,
Mark
