Griot's Garage (griotsgarage.com) has, from what I've heard, a superb window cleaner. Also, Zymol Glas is supposed to be outstanding (available from Emmons Coachworks - emmonscoachworks.com). I've also heard that Invisible Glass, found at most major auto parts stores, is very very good, too.
I usually use a damp towel from drying off the car, honestly. Occasionally, I'll use Windex, but, it never does get the glass perfectly clean. I just don't worry about it that much, I guess.
However, for washing the car, Zymol Clear auto bathe is superb. It works better than dish soap, is gentle on the finish, and results in an unusually deep shine that seems to make the depth in a good metallic finish come alive, IMHO.
I have no affiliation with any of the products, of course.
