Seat Height Adjustment

Hi,
I've asked this before. The manual seat height adjustment on the drivers seat will not retain the seat position. The seat lowers by itself when someone sits in the seat. Can I fix this without removing the seats? Is there something that I can do to the lever on the side? Thanks.
