CEL & a frequent rough idle from a cold start, to the point of stalling. Idle levels off once warm, which indicates to me the O2 sensor is in decent enough shape, though I just bought a new Bosch 15733 and will be installing it tomorrow.
I have:
replaced plugs with new NGKs, properly gapped.
replaced Direct Ignition Cassette
replaced battery
replaced Mass Air Flow sensor
replaced most vacuum lines
replaced PCV check valve
removed and cleaned purge valve
put plenty of techron concentrate through this beast
checked fuel pressure and it is consistent (even when it is stumbling and stalling)
checked the Bypass Valve, heck...I think I even replaced it...
The straws weigh heavy on my back, and I'm less than confident the O2 sensor is going to make a difference considering the stumbling seems to go away when the motor is warm.
I'm prepared to replace the MAP sensor...but honestly, I don't know if my car has one and if so where it is located. From what I can tell it should be on the strut support bar towards the right side of the car (if it's there) and nothing is there.
PLEASE give me some guidance as what to do next. This sort of problem seems to be very common and I find it disappointing that such an expensive vehicle could be so problematic for so many at low miles.
Thanks in advance,
Zachary
