When a throwout bearing gets bad enough...

1994 SE 154k, original clutch, original transmission oil. Clutch has been slipping a bit and the familiar growl of the throwout bearing on its last legs (makes more noise when clutch is disengaged) means all this stuff is worn out. I parked the car in the garage about a month ago and finally started it today to drive it over to my local indy. The car sounds like a rock polisher. Could the throwout bearing be so bad that it is making noise at idle while in neutral? I only have to drive it four miles to the shop, but a tow may be the wise thing to do if something can come apart.
Here is what I plan to have replaced, am I missing anything?
cable
clutch plates
throwout bearing
engine oil seal
transmission oil seal
flush gearbox and change oil to synthetic
The shift linkage was upgraded 6 years ago to the later design and the transmission works fine.
