The 95 and early 96 Saab convertibles have windows that are integral to the top. My window broke about 18 months ago. It was recommended to me on this board that I get a new window glued in, that it was possible to do it. I decided to give it a try. Big mistake!
The window fell out after about six weeks. The top shop would not stand behind their work. I tried to reglue it myself using Marine Goop (also recommended on this board). That worked as long as the weather was cool. The first day the temp hit the middle 90's the window fell out again.
I finally bit the bullet and bought a replacement top from Autotop Superstore (see link below). The top/window combo cost me $505. I installed it myself with the help of a buddy. Although I have to admit that my installation does not look "showroom" quality, for a 10 year old car it is more than satisfactory in my mind, considering the money I saved.
Vic, the person with whom I had contact at Autotop Superstore is extremely friendly . Each time I had a question (before and after the sale) he was prompt and professional in his replies. I cannot recommend Vic and Autotop Superstore and Vic highly enough.
