My Viggen post Hurricane Wilma, gas MPG

Some of you may have seen the long, LONG lines at gas stations here in South Florida on the news. Naturally, because of limited electricity, the vast majority of gas stations are closed or out of gas leading to lines extending many city blocks...
Anyways, I filled up my Viggen the night before Hurricane Wilma. In an effort to save fuel until things get back to normal, I have been EXTREMELY light on the pedal, never really revving past 2,700 or 3,000RPM before shifting. I normally get 260-270 miles per fill up, based on HARD driving, redlining, etc etc...I mean its a friggin' Viggen ya know!? Well, now that I'm driving Ms. Daisy, I am at 256 miles, with a little over HALF A TANK left to go! Crazyness!!! No A/C, and the weather has been extremely pleasant lately with upper 50s/lower 60s and night and upper 70s during the day.
I can't wait to start whacking the Viggen again though. As I type this at a local Starbucks, the Viggen is staring right at me from the parking lot. Its talking to me...yes, its saying, "Jose, don't abandon me, get rid of Ms. Daisy man!!!"
