Should I sell my spare?!

I got the recall letter too.
Funny how they say your car may stall anytime, but don't worry, they'll pay for the tow and repair... Kinda defeat the purpose of a safety recall.
Anyways, with the "new and improved" IDM/DIC, does it mean we won't have to carry a spare anymore?
Mine was replaced at ~25K miles (after a tow on my way to the airport in Toronto!!!). I've been carrying a spare ($250 from eBay) since then. Its still new in the box. Its a pain having to keep it in the trunk....
Any ideas?
