I just thought I'd tell you how happy I am. This holiday weekend, I drove about 800 miles fetching and delivering my 81 year old mother for Thanksgiving festivities. About half was on the toll way, speed limit 75, cruise set about 80. About 1/4 was on crazy back roads with lots of down shifting through curves and hills. And the other 1/4 was on rural roads through many small towns (and about 30 stop signs). Peaked out at 95 passing a farm truck in a very short space. Averaged 33.5 mpg for the trips. Had a wonderful time driving the '02 9-3; it easily took the crazy curves as fast as my nerve would allow. My mother, who suffers from pretty severe osteoarthritis, didn't complain once about the seat (a rarity). The sound system was great. Mileage, comfort, acceleration when needed, handling when requested. Anyway, driving the 3 made me very happy. I just thought you'd like to know.
