You guys,
I own a 1999 9-3 convertible. Last winter, I noticed that more and more the car would have less and less "energy" upon starting, and finally one day I hop into the car in a rush, to find out that I need to call CAA for a boost. They say alternator and battery are fine. A non-Saab mechanic decided that there may be a leak in the dashboard and disconnected the little fan that stays on after the car is turned off. Since it was spring I did not notice at the time but I now think in hot weather it's ok but now my car is starting to act up on me again because of the cold, I think(car currently dead in parking lot).
Any advice??? I am tired of being always stranded somewhere... Contrary to others who posted on this thread, my car won't start after a few times. Just like when you need a boost. First time you beg it will start, by the second attempt you know it's completely dead :o(
Many thanks for any advice to a non-car chick who likes to be in the know before visiting the GM dealer with an insane rate per hour.
