Viggen in an accident

I got in an accident on Friday. A guy in a Honda blew a red light when I was turning left on a green arrow. I ended up t-boning him because I was already thru most of the 3 lane intersection. Long story short, I walked away (I hit him about 25-30 mph), he slid into a steel pole (wasn't wearing a seat belt)...He was unconcious and in bad shape. So, now that I have satisfied most of you with the story, here are some general questions:
1) My airbag didn't deploy. Will they have to install a new system or re-check it? I am suprised it didn't considering my bumper is bent down and part of it is missing.
2) I ended up with a dented hood (bent down bad), viggen nose skirt destroyed, bumper destroyed, left front quarter panel, fog lights, head lights, grill, as well as problems with the engine running (almost dies and then picks up)...I am wondering if the cost to do this will result in a total loss because my car has about 86,000 miles on it. I ended up checking the parts for replacement and the parts alone seem to be about 4-5 K. I think a re-paint of most of the car and some engine work (don't know if the body is bent) will push this thing over the limit. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Rob
