I think they will. I am using 205/55/16 on 9-3, and they do rub ocassionally. I have standard shocks and springs, and about once a month I hit a depression in the road that causes the car to dive, and the wheels to rub. There are no visible signs of wear yet. I keep checking on it every now and then. I definitely would not go any further, unless the roads in your area are perfectly level. Maybe stiffer shocks/spring will also prevent rubbing. Anyway, rubbing at the back wheels will create wholes in your gas supply lines. I do not think that 3/4" are worth that risk. Particularly because from 3 feet away, nobody will be able to tell the difference, nor would anybody care.
