Haha, No kidding. My front brake memories on the Saab are filled with:
1. Spray PB Blaster into lugholes to soak.
2. Wait...
3. Quickly realize the futility of prying on the rotor to get it off.
4. Spray More PB Blaster.
5. Wait...
5. Realize that the rotors aren't coming of without the big hammer.
6. Beat the crap out of the rotors with the big hammer, and realize there is no turning back now!
Lesson learned:
- Rotors are heavy and when they come loose look out below.
- Apply a good dose of anti-seize to the mating surface on the backside of the rotor (as well as the threads of the index screw) to hopefully avoid this mess next time.
