I write this message so you all can laugh, after nearly pulling my hair out on this 900s with 93k,I have conqured this beast the whole problem was that when the previous owner had taken it in because of no start the indy changed the fuel pump, but that did not fix the problem, cps was changed nothing,he had it towed back home to sell, when i got the car put in a new battery, and the alarm starts going off fix that, still no start then i notice that my dash lights are all acting wierd sometimes on and then off,all the while my fuel pump would sometimes kick on but not always,so i change the ignition switch, fixes dash problem but still no start and fuel pump would not always run, then i checked relays the previous indy had already been there,I could tell by non saab relays as well as grease stains on relays changed all fuel related relays, now the f pump works fine you can hear it running all the time, although in retrodpect was a little loud.So not having tool to take off fuel lines i pulled the pressure regulator,no gas,wtf fuel pump is running(brand new)so i think well the car was sitting awhile maybe the filter is clogged, take of the filter turn car over no gas,Now i am really pissed, chop a whole to get to pump and guess what white is the pressure side not black, the indy had put them in backwards on the return side there is a check valve that was keeping gas from flowing,so i very carefully pull of the return that is stuck in the pressure side and it breaks off.$52 later saab sells the piece from f tank to fuel rail so another 25 for tool to pull off fuel line, and good god she started right up.I write this because if I can help 1 guy out it will not be so bad thanks to everyone for any help either by responding to me or on other topics this site rocks thanks
