Somimi: Til you find the manual info, here is a summary of how to
check auto trans fluid level. Start, drive and park the car on level ground-
keep engine running! Shift slowly and pause each in Drive, Neutral, Reverse, and finally in Park. While the engine is running and you are
in Park, remove the trans fluid dip stick (at front of engine with
little latch and narrow tube) wipe it, reinsert, remove and check
level. If stick is hot it should be at hot mark and if cold at the
cold mark. A little tough to see exact level but it should be in
those ranges and clear pink in color/ no burnt smell. I have a 98
900S w Turbo and auto, and it shifts great but doesn't shift down
unless you really put the pedal down quite a bit. Wayne Knapp
