I found some pictures of this setup on eeroparts site, along with the proper names of these parts.
It appears my choices are:
1) Get the stanchion arm bushings (other side of car is showing the same
problem). I fear bushings alone may not solve the issue.
2) Get the stanchion arm bushings + stanchion arm itself. This is probably
going to be more reliable in the long run.
3) Get the entire front suspension kit for 9-3: all arms, bushings, swaybar + hardware. My car is 1994 900s. Supposedly this will even improve my ride. Has anybody experienced the effects of installing "poly" bushings in your suspension? Does it make the ride stiffer? Do those bushing loose their plasticity over time? How are they in cold whether?
I now also have to worry about the crack in the subframe. Has anybody had the subframe replaced before? How much does it approximately cost? While it is off the car, what other repairs are worth doing at the same time?
Any input greatly appreciated.
