About a week ago, right after coming out of a store and starting it up, my car ('97 900 SE turbo) suddenly began running extremely rough, like half the cylinders weren't firing, and it wouldn't idle. It would just die if I didn't keep it at around 2000 RPM. The spark plugs were completely black for the first time in the car's life. I borrowed a spare black DI cassette from a friend and tried that out, but it didn't make a bit of difference. I also swapped the plugs out and they got black again after only a minute or so of idling. They even seemed to have a little oil on the threads. The car has never burned oil, never run less than perfect, and only has 67,000 miles on it. Where should I look next? Thanks in advance!
