Our 2002 SE auto has a four speed trans. A friend of mine whos a big big autofreak said it was the smoothest he had felt!
We live in NYC so an auto is great for the start stop driving, however I really miss manual when I'm feeling frisky, also whenever I have to take avasive action I still reach for the shifter, and the strange thing is that I reach with my right hand and yet I have never driven a stick lefthand drive car, all my manual shifting was in England using the left hand!
