Seat Heat Help Needed

Bringing this one TTT
I just finished fixing my driver's seat - '98 900 CVSE. Removed seat from the car and used a test light to find no continuity at the white connector for the seat back (male connectors) or the bottom (female connectors). Started pulling the cover from the seat back but gave it up when I could not get past the release and lumbar knobs - the bottom was what was important. As I began stripping the cover from the bottom I saw that both wires were disconnected where they came up from under the seat - the yellow was pulled from the chrome button and the other was diconnected from the heat wire at the solder - I repaired both connections and then snipped a small piece of household wire with 1/4 inch insulation stripped from each end. I folded the exposed wire 180 degrees and stuck them into the female connectors of the white connector under the seat in order to bypass the seat back. Works like a charm!
Now I can get rid of the repaired seat cushions that I bought on the auction site that I did not need to use.
