I ordered parts from eEuroparts last week. I understood exactly what I was paying for before I put the order in. The duties are listed on the UPS website. I also knew that I would have to pay GST as well as Provincial sales tax on the purchase as well as on the duties. My order came to $416.00 CND, duties and taxes(GST, PST) where $118.00 CND.
I saved almost $400.00 from ordering from Eeuroparts instead of the local dealer when everything is considered. It took only three days and it came right to my door. The IDM (DIC) cost $752.00 CND at the local dealer. On autopartseh this part was $682.00. At eEuroparts it was only $329.50 USD. I did not check The Saabsite until after I ordered it but it was listed for $275.00. I ordered a few different things which were also cheaper than at the dealer here in Canada. At eEuroparts spark plugs where $6.99 a set and the last time I bought them here they where $5.00 a each.
I don't know what parts sell for at the dealer in America but it seems General Motors of Canada can't make money on selling cars, so they make it up in selling parts.
I will order from eEuroparts again even with the duties and taxes.
