This is an unusual question. Why are you removing it. As part of some other job?
I removed the rear exhaust manifold once when I was replacing the head gasket on my V6 about 2.5 years ago. I did that job on jacks and stands in the garage so that shouldn't be a problem.
Be sure to have new gaskets, one each for the header pipe to manifold junction and another for the cylinder head to manifold junction. On the manifold to header pipe connection, there are two large bolts/nuts, not far above the oxygen sensor. To reach that, you'll need a long extension, probably 12". (I think I had to borrow one.) Also, those bolts are under quite a bit of torque and may be extra stiff due to the extreme heat in that location.
I removed everything OK but when reinstalling, I just couldn't get these two bolts tight enough with my long socket extension. When I restarted the car, it sounded like I had glass packs because the header to manifold joint wasn't firm enough. At the time, I took it to a muffler shop and they torqued them up for free using an impact wrench with an extension. I think I own the correct tools now but that was the only tricky part.
If you need more specifics and torque values, post back. I can look things up in the B258 Basic Engine manual.
