I had the same problem 8 miles after my last fillup with the exact same car (96 SE Turbo). I thought it was the DIC, but my backup that I keep with me made no difference. I then read some old posts on the board and tried cleaning the ELCD Purge valve (Connected to the right shock tower with a vacuum hose connected to each side and electrical plug). Others cleaned with WD40, but I used PB Blaster which worked great. I sprayed it into both sides and let it sit, got as much out as I could and put it back on the car. It started right up and has been great for about 250 miles! It seems like a somewhat common problem, so hopefully yours is as easy a fix. You can also purchase a new part online at http://www.eeuoroparts.com, part # is: 4442471. Good Luck!
