We can be pretty sure that each car will not get more than one replacement if it turns out that it has an affected IDM.
So if you have bougth a used one and that one turns out to be within the range of the bad ones, I highly doubt that Saab is going to swap it out for you, if you walk in with it in your hand.
Another thing that we don't know about at this time and what will be talked about a lot later on, is when people start to submit the claim forms to get money back for already paid for installation.
We have no clue how Saab will handle those claims and the cost of replacing catalytic converters since they are saying that they will reimburse for cat replacement if it happened less than 3 month/5000 Km after the IDM died.
