Sometime this winter my 1999 93SE parted ways with the blue hood emblem. The plastic chrome piece remanined behind similar to about 5 other Saabs that park in my work parking lot. Infact I think there are more Saabs missing the sticker than have them where I work.

Anyway I stopped at the dealer to see if I Won a new Saab, after receiving the promotional mailing a few weeks ago. While there I walked over to Parts and asked for a new hood badge. While they had them in stock they wanted $46 for one.

Needless to say I did not buy one. That part should cost $5-10 tops. Is is Saab charging to much or is my dealer being greedy?

Oh if you are wondering whether I won the new Saab, the dealer said that while they are participating in the contest, they did not have their number as of yet and could not check. The contest is over next week, and they don't have their info yet. Yeah right, I am done with this dealer, they are giving Saab a bad name.
