Fuel lines run under the car from tank to engine compartment.
Lift up the right rear seat and remove the round cover under carpet and check for fuel smell or wetness on top of the fuel tank. That would indicate that the fuel pump hold down ring could be loose.
Also check the fuel filler pipe where in comes down from the filler neck and into the tank. It runs very close to the rear wheel and if the plastic bolt holding filler pipe in place comes loose, the filler pipe might rub against the rear wheel.
