The vehicles in this BB can all be bleed with no concerns. But, with ABS you need to avoid emptying the reservoir because clearing air introduced into the ABS unit might be difficult.
Do not stroke the brake petal to the floor. The MC bore probably has rust deposits where the piston seals stop. Moving the piston to those extremes damages the soft rubber cup seals on the rough rust deposits.
I put a block of 2x4 behind the brake petal to limit petal travel.
Remove and replace the fluid from the reservoir first, as that is the most contaminated, and you do not want to run that from one end to the other. It is not easy to R&R the fluid. I use a syringe, 1/8" tubing and a small nylon or metal tube in that to get into the second chamber.
