Since the wheels are aluminum there is a chance that if you over torque the nuts the bearing load on the wheel could cause the wheel metal to yield (yield is the point where the metal can not take the bearing load and the area under the nut deforms) and the nuts to loosen. I would look and see if there is any marking where the nut bears on the wheel. I am an engineer and non-engineers may not understand this. LOL
