What needs to be done when ALL keys are lost is to replace the TWICE module in your car and have the new TWICE module programmed to your car and key.

Any Saab shop with a Tech 2 scanner and the knowledge to do this repair can help you out.

The suggested retail price of the TWICE unit is $745.00 and then you need to buy 2 sets of keys cut to your car (I suggest to buy the 2001 and up all-in-one key) and those are $172.00 each.

And the labor to replace TWICE unit and program everything would be around $100.00 to 200.00 depending on the shop.

So for roughly $1300.00 you can get new stuff installed.

Another way to go is to find a used TWICE unit from a junk car but it is crucial that you get the key from that same car the TWICE unit came out of since it is a programming chip embedded in the key, coded to the TWICE unit.

You can also get used 2001 and up keys (not 9-3SS) and use part of that key together with a new key shaft cut to your car.

That way you can save some more money.
