I broked the plastic connector that hitches into the TB. Accidentally leaned on it while cleaning the TB. Plastic was old and hard and it cracked. But, after replacing, I see how much the old one is stretched out and the pedal to engine response is much better.
Replacment is easy. 15 minutes.
Undo the panel under the dash on drivers side- two screws unde fuse cover, four underneath, one bolt at door sill. Also remove the OBD connector screws. Remove the steel "accident plate" (black steel, two recessed bolts). Climb under, unhook cable from pedal lever, just lifts up and out. Leave hanging.
Under hood, remove engine cover. Carefully pry metal connector out of back of plastic throttle connector. It just snaps out the back. Pry c-clips holding cable to TB bracket. Pull cable out of front of bracket. Reach down, or use large pliers, to pull cable out of firewall (large plastic bushing just slips into firewall grommet.
Installation is reverse of removal. I used some universal, short term libricant on the bushing (spit) to slide it back in.
