Jack up the car, take the offending wheel off and give the rotor a good spin. Assuming your wheel-bearing is in decent shape, it should spin fairly free; not like a top or anything, but you'll get the idea.
That will let you know if a pad is dragging and then you can determine if it's a bad caliper or just a sticky pad. Put a little white-lithium grease on the two pins that the pads ride on, as well. Sometimes the shops don't replace the pins and any rust or buildup on them can cause the pads to stick and drag at the point closest to the pin, thereby wearing unevenly.
Also, this wouldn't affect your braking issue, but double-check that the shield isn't rubbing on the rotor anywhere.
