I am about to switch to the H rated version as I liked the tire but want more miles out of it. I did a lot of research for the Y rated version, because I wanted a tire that was a reasonable performer and yet also would give me a quiet ride for three hour stints at 75 mph that I have to do twice per week. The stress of noise for long distance driving is one tiring factor that can be limited. (Sorry) I even got CU to send me the sound ratings that they did not publish in their tests. The Plus version is rated even quieter by Michelin than its plain vanilla MXV4 Energy, better in some handling respects as well. Miles, though, were around 22K per set, and they cost a bit more. The H version is still speed rated, but should last a little longer. (I do not take tread down the legal limit, rather getting rid of tired when high speed hydroplaning becomes an issue.) I do not plan on driving over 130 mph too often (the H limit), and the handling should be pretty comparible. I'll let the list know if it is not. I did use H rated Michelins on a Miata, and the milage on even that small car for them was not all that great either, but they did lesson the sound of the OEM tires which had a well deserved terrible reputation.
