So I showed him the letter and pointed out that Recall #15021 was for the IDM. He showed me the IRIS printout telling me that 10521 was for the brakes, then I pointed out that even on his IRIS print, it said "10521 - IDM."

He went to check with the tech. Later, he told me the tech checked my VIN and I wasn't subject to the IDM recall, but I HAD been subject to a recall (NOT showing up on IRIS) for the brakes. I told him the info I had said the IDM recall was bassed on the IDM serial nuber, not the car's VIN, and why would Saab send me a recall notice for the IDM that had my VIN number printed on the letter if that VIN wasn't eligible. He said he didn't know. By that time I had been there four (4!) hours and decided to bag it.

I went home and tried to check the IDM myself, but the torx screws are so tight I can't budge them by hand. Next oil change at Anders place, we'll get the answer.
