In October 2004 I went into a turn on a favorite road of mine at much too high a rate of speed and lost the rear end on a rise at the apex of the turn. As I countersteered to bring the rear end around, the rise transitioned to a dip and the tires went from not having enough contact to hooking up completely. The countersteering thus sent me straight off the road and into a parked car at about 50 mph or more.
Clearly, the front end damage to the car is substantial. It had recently had its engine rebuilt due to the old B235R engine flaw and only had 2,000 miles on it. I've been paying for it ever since and was planning on fixing it and putting it back on the road, however, I have since found a more productive use for that money and am interested in unloading it now.
I'm just looking for some advice on what my best approach would be: sell it for parts myself or sell it to an auto salvage yard.
Thanks,
Jamie
