I'm a little confused, do you have an "SE" or an "S"? I believe all SE's had leather, and if you had an SE it would likely be a turbo, though I think there were a few SE V6 sticks, and you wouldn't be complaining of the power.

Sounds like you might have a cloth non-turbo "S" in which case almost any newer Saab to your spec, four doors, leather and automatic will be fine.

So you should look at a newer NG900 1996 to 1998 or in 1999 the New Generation 900 or NG900 morphed into a 9-3 which was sold from 1999-2002. Any of these come in an SE version which has standard leather, dual power seats with drivers memory, upgraded SID and upgraded stereo and here's the SE tip off, ACC, digital climate control as opposed to knobs.

The ACC is the tip off because some 2001 and 2002 9-3SE's need a premium package to be true SE's, that is the stuff that used to be SE spec became the premium package in 2001 and 2002.

All 1999-2002 9-3's are turbos with good automatics.

But also look at a 9-5, and the coolest dogmobile being a 9-5 SportWagon. Everything to like about an NG900/OG9-3 goes double for a 9-5, luxury, performance and reliability are trebled with a 9-5.
