I've been having problems with the antenna on my 2001 Viggen Conv for the past couple of years. In the past, every once-in-a-while, it wouldn't retract all the way, but turning the radio on and off usually fixed it.

Well, I just noticed that the antenna isn't extending all the way. Not sure how long it's been like this, but since I've never had problems with radio reception, it could've been doing this since I bought the car, for all I know.

Anyway, Europarts sells an antenna mast, as well as the motor assembly. Is the problem I've described indicative of a bad motor?

Any way I can fix this on the cheap? I'm tired of putting money into this car. Too many things going wrong now that the warranty is up. Still need to replace the bend wheels...
