The engine oil pan is fairly easy in my opinion to remove, but I work in a shop and have access to a lift, ect. I remove the front exhaust pipe/ converter, they actually come out pretty easy. The engine needs to be supported (Engine support beam) from above. You may be able to rent a support beam as they are a very common tool for todays cars. Then remove the three plastic panels under the front of the car. Then I remove the two front subframe bolts and loosen the Other four rear subframe bolts. This allows the subframe to dip down in the front and makes it so the oil pan can come out. Then remove the small tin cover over the the flywheel lower edge (2 6mm bolts). Drain the oil pan & remove all the bolts and remove your pan. I assume you are removing this pan for inspection of sludge. I found the last one that I removed that underneath the oil pick-up screen there was a large quantity of gritt (almost like coffee grounds)I hope this has been some help, let me know if there's anything else you have questions on.
