LED taillights

Since I can't seem to find any posts/discussions regarding substituting LED modules in place of the standard brake lights, I decided to inquire first hand. The following website has some 1157-style installable LED modules for use as taillights, and I had a few questions specifically for the Saab community.
http://www.superbrightleds.com/tail-brake-turn.html
1, Will the use of these (in pairs of course) give the computer any trouble in regards to the "light out" function? Does the "Light out" function work in regards to difference in resistance between left and right sides, or just that both are within a certain acceptable range of resistance?
2, How do these fair as brake lights to other drivers? Are they as visible from wide angles as incandescant bulbs? Does anyone have any pics they'd like to share of Saabs using LED taillights?
Many thanks in advance for any replies.
