Persisten leak on the tranny differential seal.

Hello everyone once again! I hope everyone is doing well.
The car: Saab 900 SET 1996, suspension has been lowered.
About a year ago I replaced my transmission. While at it, I replaced the differential seals. The driver side seal has been leaking ever since. I have replaced the shaft that goes into that location while rebuilding the axle. I also replaced the seals in at least 2 separate ocassions, I also replaced the seal housing (star shaped metal piece). The seal on the driver sider still leaks.
My question is: Could play on the suspension cause the seal to leak? I do not have any suspension problems, but I am out of ideas as to why that seal is leaking since it was replaced 2 times and the shaft that is there is brand spanking new. Any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
