or 0.40 to 0.45 bar.
The maximum factory boost pressure is:
11.5 PSI (0.79 bar) for vehicles with a manual transmission, and
9 PSI (0.63 bar) for vehicles with an automatic transmission.
Raising the base boost worked OK on the C900, but is not recommended for the NG900 and 9-3. The trionic system is pretty sophisticated and controls the ignition timing, spark duration, fuel system, along with the boost pressure. For the T5 the MBC+A (manual boost controller plus anticipator) or for the T7 the SMBC (series manual boost controller), or a re-programmed ECU are much better ways to achieve quicker and extra usable boost.
