Had the exact same problem on the exact same car. IAC was cleaned (per many Saabnet postings), idle was erratic after that, and I ended up replacing the IAC.
Sometimes they can be cleaned, sometimes they (obviosuly) cannot be. Not sure they would do something like this at a dealer. I have all my work done at a (very competent) indy shop.
