Rear Sway Bar

I'm looking to get a steering rack brace and rear sway bar (probably from genuinesaab.com). I'm wondering if the 22mm sway bar (vs. the 19mm bar) will be too stiff and give up wet/snow traction. Granted, most of the time I'll be on dry pavement, but wet conditions are when I'll really appreciate traction (to avoid my knuckles from turning white). So, I think the 22mm would be ok, but I was wondering if anyone had experiences with that bar and snow or experiences with the 19mm bar.
