Does the radiator fan even work on low-speed?
There is a full and low speed on some models. There are two connectors and three wires going to the fan motor. Low speed is the wire w. the inline resistor mounted on the fan shroud (shaped like a tube). The wires can short, resistor burns out, no low fan speed even if the ECU calls for it.
If it does not work, checking the two circuits is easy w. a meter if you unplug the connectors. If burned out, the low speed wire to ground lead will read open. So is testing the fan motor on both speeds with clip leads to the battery terminals.
